Hva tilbyr vi?

Alle som har rett og plikt til norskopplæring må gjennomføre et 50 timers kurs i samfunnskunnskap på et språk de forstår. VIO skole tilbyr 5 timers opplæring i samfunnskunnskap i uka. Elevene vil få tilgang til lesestoff på sitt morsmål.

Alle som har fått rett/plikt til opplæring etter 1.9.2013 må avlegge en prøve i samfunnskunnskap etter endt kurs. Prøven er gratis for denne elevgruppa. Samfunnskunnskapsprøven blir arrangert fortløpende og gjennomføres på skolen. VIO skole melder elevene opp til prøve i samfunnskunnskap. Prøven kan avlegges på morsmål eller norsk.

Privatister

Privatister må betale en prøveavgift på 700 kr. De må melde seg opp til prøven via www.kompetansenorge.no.

Permanent oppholdstillatelse

For å kunne søke om permanent oppholdstillatelse i Norge må søkeren ha bestått samfunnskunnskapsprøven på sitt morsmål eller på norsk.

Statsborgerskap

For å kunne søke om statsborgerskap i Norge må søkeren ha bestått samfunnskunnskapsprøven på norsk eller statsborgerskapsprøven på norsk.

Civic Life for Adult Immigrants Programme 

What do we offer?

Every person who has the right and obligation to the Norwegian course needs to participate in a 50 hours long course in the Civic Life for Adult Immigrants Programme in a language they know. VIO School offers 5 hours a week in the Civic Life for Adult Immigrants Programme. The students will have access to study material in their mother tongue.

Every person who has received the right and obligation to the Norwegian course after September 1^st, 2013, must take a test in the Civic Life for Adult Immigrants Programme after the course has ended. The course is free of charge for these specific students. The Civic Life for Adult Immigrants Programme will be arranged consecutively and will be carried out at the school. The school will sign the students up for the test. The test can be taken in the students mother tongue or in Norwegian.

External candidates

Permanent citizen permit

To apply for a permanent citizen permit in Norway, the applicant must have passed the Civic Life for Adult Immigrants Programme in either their mother tongue or in Norwegian.

Norwegian citizenship

To apply for a Norwegian citizenship, the applicant must have passed the Civic Life for Adult Immigrants Programme in Norwegian or have passed the Norwegian Citizenship test in Norwegian.
